We’ve been preparing the music since September and are thrilled to present this gorgeous program, featuring the New York premiere of Margaret Burk’s This Holy Hour for choir and harp, along with works by Leonard Bernstein, Abbie Betinis, Mark Miller, and Zanaida Stewart Robles.

Caroling, Caroling…!
What do Hello Kitty, Skittles, Dungeons and Dragons, and the West Village Chorale’s popular Caroling Walk all share in common?
They’ve all turned 50 (fifty!) in 2024!
Thank you to the nearly 200 eager carolers (and the occasional interpretive dancer!) who joined us Sunday, December 15th to bring the merry and bright songs of the season all over the West Village! (And perhaps some bleak ones…we’re looking at you, “Midnight Clear”…)
Special thanks go to this year’s location partner, Our Lady of Pompeii Church, and to all the WVC members (and plus-ones!) who led those many dozens of singers eager for some holiday cheer!

For the second year in a row, members of the WVC, under the direction of guest conductor Henco Espag, recently appeared on-air with Alison Stewart, host of WNYC’s All of It with Alison Stewart to bring some carols to the city’s airwaves and promote the Caroling Walk and Holiday Concert.
